The palate is long and generous with both its primary fruit and savoury tones – a coating of fine silky tannin persist supported by subtle smoky oak and tight acid structure. Aging potential 4-5 years.

Rockbare Shiraz
Strong coffee aromas with an underlying spice and rich home made jams. On the palate the trademark liquorice tannin structure of the previous RockBare McLaren Vale Shiraz again shows through. The palate has great balance, integrated oak and an array of dark fruits, predominantly blackberry and blackcurrant. A complex, layered wine without undue aggression or rough edges - the result of choosing old vine fruit, open fermentation, gentle pressing, and a little quite time in the barrel.
