Louis Roederer
Louis Roederer is one of the few independent family owned Houses established back in 1776. Roederer own 190 hectares which provides up to two thirds of their grape requirements. This is the largest proportion of any Champagne House and gives them strict control over their raw materials. Each year a proportion of their finest wines are added to their unique ‘Reserve Wine Cellar’. Kept in large oak casks in an air conditioned cellar until they are required for addition to the blend that is Brut Premier. |

Louis Roederer Cristal 1997
The Ultimate Champagne for Toasting successes, this luxurious elixir is highly sought after. Cristal's signature bottle shows off the lustrous pale gold appearance of this wine. Light and fresh with an intensely floral bouquet fragrant with almonds, hazelnuts and wild flowers is complemented by a touch of acidity to mark a finish of elegant finish.

Louis Roederer Cristal 2000
Champagne Louis Roederer Cristal is produced using only the finest vintages from crus guaranteed to originate from the Louis Roederer vineyards. Cristal is left to mature on its sediment for five to six years and spends a minimum period of six months in the cellar after disgorgement. The ''liqueur de dosage'' is prepared with the greatest of care from a selected blend of 8 to 10 of the very best crus from the Louis Roederer vineyard and then left to age in oak 4 to 10 years.
On the contact with the air, Champagne Cristal releases a very fine, intense bouquet, scents of white flowers borne by hawthorn and vine and the aroma of fresh almonds. A supple, generous attack, silky on the palate but delicately substantial and perfectly blended. There is a subtle vinosity to the taste which moderates its strength well, persisting to a lingering yet lively finish.
