Taylors of Harrogate's Earl Grey uses finest quality black China Congou leaf blended with the essential oil of the bergamot fruit, which has a fresh, citrus flavour. This combination creates one of the world's most elegant and well-known speciality teas. Use a warmed teapot and add one teaspoon of tea per person and en extra 'one for the pot'. Add freshly boiled water and infuse for 4 - 5 minutes. Serve on its own, or add milk or a slice lemon.
